About SHRI SWAMINARAYAN GAU SEVA TRUST, UMARPADA
In the tribal area of Umarpada, the cow lineage is promoted, the tribal’s are awakened to special interest in agriculture and animal husbandry, and for the maintenance, care and service of Girgai cows, the Shri Swaminarayan Ashram Krishna-Bhakti Gaushala has been built on a vast land of 33 acres with the inspiration of Holiness Bapashri. 101 cows have been raised in a cowshed with scientific methods, equipped with facilities like cowshed, hay godown, chaff cutter, milking machine, cow dung gas, making medicine from cow urine, etc., under the guidance of Swami Shri K.P. Shastriji. Out of which, calves are given free of cost to the needy people.
SSGST Umarpada
Along with cow service and social upliftment, the organization is also progressing in human service. The organization is serving through many activities like medical camps, blanket distribution, shoe distribution. In the coming times, when we have to move forward with many resolutions, it has been decided to build a hostel and a complex with the blessings of His Holiness Bapa and Shri Swami K.P. Shastriji to achieve the goal of free education for the children of tribal areas. We invite you all to participate in the creation of this work.
The MLA of this area, Shri Ganpatsinh Vasava Saheb, as well as the dedicated workers of the organization, Shri Sureshbhai Hirpara, Shri Ghanshyambhai Sheldia and Shaileshbhai Poshiya, are working tirelessly for this work.
